Image (You being 10 years younger than Bill)
You had a huge crush on Bill ever since you were little. He was your big brothers best friend along with Tom. The twins would come over for play dates, they were so much older than you. You were five and they were fifteen. But regardless of the age difference Bill would always take a minute to play with you, pretending to be the prince while you were the princesses.
But one day, Tom and your older brother made fun of him, calling him a cradle rocker for playing with you.
When you were ten, Bill and Tom moved to LA. You knew that they were popular, they left four tour for long periods of time, and you missed them, but at ten it never accrued to you that the rest of the world wanted them too.
As you got older you watched as the boys went on interviews, how happy they looked. You loved watching Bill. At twelve years old, watching his smiling face on TV reminded you of the time you spent playing with Bill.
When you are thirteen Tokio Hotel has finally come out with their new record, and you got tickets to one of their concerts. So you go, you also have back stage passes.
Even with your impending crush on Bill starting before Tokio Hotel became big, you loved their music when you first heard it.
You go to the meet and great and Bill doesn’t recognize you, its as if he has never seen you before.
At fifteen, when Bill is twenty-five he gets married. Your crush on him has dwindled a bit, but it hurts you still. You cant help but feel broken hearted.
Three years after Bill’s big marriage he gets divorced. You feel bad for him. You don’t think anything else about it, you are now eighteen, and have a cute boyfriend, and will be going off to college soon.
It is almost ten years until you see Bill again. You are now twenty- four, college grad, on your way to become a lawyer, your career is off to a great start. And your older brother announces that he is getting married!
At the reception you see Bill and Tom and you decide to go over and say hi.
“Hey,” you say walking over. Bill looks at you, and then has to take a second look. You are no longer that little girl anymore.
“____ is that you?” Bill asks. You nod with a smug look on your face. “I think the only thing about you that hasn’t changed are your eyes,” he says.
Tom whistles. “You look good,” he says.
“Thank you.” you say. “You both look pretty good,” they smile and you all part.
A few minutes after everyone has finished eating the dancing starts. You are sitting alone at your table, not feeling much like dancing.
“A beautiful girl like you shouldn’t be sitting alone,” you hear someone say. You turn and see Bill. “Sorry was that cheesy?” he asks.
“Just a bit.” You say with a laugh.
“Will you dance with me anyway?” he says.
“Sure,” you say standing up. You both go out to the dance floor and sway to the soft music. You look Bill over, he is thirty-five now, and has aged well. He still has the same laughing beautiful brown eyes, the same amazing smile, his hair is back to its natural hair color like he got bored of dying it.
“You look amazing,” he says.
“So do you,” you say.
“You know, I didn’t expect a little girl to be here when I came back, but I sure didn’t expect a young woman either,” he says.
“Full grown you mean,” you say with a smirk.
“Right,” Bill says.
You and Bill sit and talk and drink wine. By the end of the night you are both a little bit buzzed.
“Want to go out to a bar?” Bill asks.
“Sure,” you say with a laugh.
After the reception you both go out and get plastered, its not your usual thing to do, but you just want some fun.

You wake up with a killer head ache, and there is a funny taste in your mouth. You are lying in a strange bed, and you look around. You have no idea where you are. You look over and see Bill laying there fast asleep. You look down and realize your clothes are on the floor. You glance over at Bill again and realize he is staring at you.
“Hi,” you say in a smile voice pulling the blanket up to cover your bare chest.
“Hi yourself,” he says. You both sit there in silence. “You know the last woman I ever slept with was three years ago?” he says.
“Really,” you say unsure.
“My ex-wife.” Bill says. “And you probably didn’t need to hear that,”
You just shake your head. “well I should go,” you say getting up quickly and dressing. You are not shy about it now, he obviously saw everything last night. Then again, you only remember bits and pieces, so might he.
“Wait, wait!” Bill says following you out the door, he managed to pull on a pair of boxers before running out after you.
“Lets just pretend that last night didn’t happen.” You say turning to look at him. “Its just going to make things awkward and I would like to ignore it,”
“I don’t,” Bill says. “___ when I saw you last night, I felt something,” Bill looks at your with nothing but admiration.
“You don’t feel like a cradle robber?” you ask.
Bill looks at you guiltily. “Did I hurt you when I stopped playing with you when they said that?” he asks.
“I was five,” you say.
He shrugs. “Come to breakfast with me at least?” he says. You agree.
You and Bill go to breakfast, and that results in a first date, witch goes to a second and progresses into a relationship with Bill. A year after you and Bill became a couple, you conceive your first child and get married at six months pregnant. (sorry)
You and Bill are happy together, and looking back at the past, seeing your crush on Bill, and everything in between now and then, its looking at Bill now and realizing that you got him. That maybe, even when you were a five year old girl, even then he was yours. And looking at your child, and at Bill, you couldn’t be happier with your life.
